The forecast for the past few days has been somewhat depressing: Thursday, rain; Friday, rain; Saturday, rain. Then came Sunday: Temperate sunny splendor.

So what a better way of celebrating a break in the clouds (especially with rain on the way for Monday onward) than to head to Kamakura, renting a bike, and enjoying both the fresh air and seeing some hydrangea?
