Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan Grand Mosque (Abu Dhabi)

Stained glass was another thing entirely. Instead of opting for the darker, more dramatic hues that seem to resonate within Christian churches, those in the Muslim world seemed more pastel and liquid; I started pondering: is this because of an actual difference in how the two religions view worship circumstances--or more of a simple fact, such as that the kinds of pastel colors weren't available at the time cathedrals were being constructed?
