Fertility Festival Finale 金まら祭りのフィナル (Kawasaki)

It's difficult to grasp the full extent of the festival crowd in my previous shots; though this particular capture isn't one of the better ones in terms of composition, I wanted to give a better idea of how many people were drawn to the otherwise quiet Kawasaki suburb.

After the penis floats paraded around town for a while, the crowd lingered around the different shops and restaurants; strangers foreign and Japanese alike became acquainted, sharing beers and sake in the streets and reflecting on the festival together.
