the pyramids ギーザのピラミッド (cairo)

Iconic view of the pyramids of Giza, grouped together. Pyramids of queens stand in front of pyramid Menkaure; in center, the pyramid of Khafre; and the Great pyramid of Khufu (in actuality the largest, while visually the smallest) stands in the back to the right.

While they are indeed rather impressive structures, due to some combination of their size, the landscape, and air conditions, they always tend to look as miniatures in photos taken at a distance (even without a tilt-shift lens).
