the desert dash 砂漠の突進 (cairo)

Our guide, on the back of an animal whose speed by far rivaled that of the camel, would at times depart from our group, race off into the desert and race other guides--then come back. Thinking that over, I imagine that racing people during work hours would be a rather nice distraction from the boredom of showing tourists the same sorts of things day in and day out.
