dawn, from the hotel カイロの真上に日の出 (cairo)

View from the 6th floor room, Concorde Hotel Dokki in Cairo. (Taken around 6 a.m.)

Three days in Egypt. A wad of Egyptian pounds. Camera with 4 gigs of memory free and a fresh battery. And a desire to stretch all to their limits. Welcome to the next leg of my journey: Egypt!

(Yes, yes, I know that it's hanami week as well--and there was that amazing Kawasaki Kanamara Matsuri, the "Iron Penis Festival" last weekend. I'll be displaying photos from both soon!)

Really nice shot. It is a great pleasure to look it. Misty morning and shadows, they make this shot admirable.
