meiji jingu gate 明治神宮通路 (harajuku, tokyo)

As I've mentioned a bit in the past, I love "doorway" shots, and the magnificent entryway to Meiji Shrine is no exception. Each time I look through these giant wood doors and see the torii gate beyond, I feel somehow transported to a different age--one in which most of Tokyo was paper- and wood-built.
