gingko and tile 銀杏と甍 (kyoto, japan)

whilst traipsing about kyoto in search of lovely autumn photos, i came across this scene: a tiled temple roof with ginkgo leaves raining down in the breeze, scattering across the top. something about the color/pattern of tile and crest vis-a-vis the curves of each leaf really gave me pause.
