bamboo forest 竹の森 (gifu, japan)

surrounding part of Eihō-ji temple (永保寺) in tajimi is this beautiful bamboo forest, the likes of which my lens was not sufficient in capturing. it's unfortunate that images cannot capture the soft wooden scent of the bamboo, nor the clinking rustle of the trunks and leaves moving with the breeze
