getting this guy to pose was kind of a challenge. normally, i would try to abide by the "it's okay to take a photo of a random stranger, but make sure you can run faster than he can!" approach -- but i felt an exception was in order for a chap involved in organized crime who's missing most of his pinkie.

so, my solution? asking nicely.
