the sanjya matsuri ("three shrine festival") is one of Tokyo's most famous festivals, drawing over a million tourists annually. each area of asakusa seems to have its own set of mikoshi (shown in this photo), a kind of "portable shrine" that is supported by a dozen or so volunteers who kind of "dance" with it through the side-streets leading up to the giant temple of Senso-ji.

Don't they fight when they passing by each other? Like hitting each other to push them away and give way for them?
