You're diggin' the water thing ... I like this in b&w ... I love the little ripples at the edges of the petals and flower – they create depth ... very strong circular composition and subtle texture

Lovely composition. I especially like that you included little bits of the round line on the right side, which provides a nice echo of the flower.

@GJC: thanks for your message! yeah-- i don't usually like to manipulate my subject when i am outside--choosing instead to let nature frame itself, and me find the best way to discover where that optimal vantage point is--but i decided to move the petals around a bit and let the curve of the stone basin these were sitting in try to support the right side of the frame. unfortunately, though, the exposure is a little off i reckon.
Delicate and pure. It's a nice concept.
